Green Mountain Chocolate Company has been handcrafting award-winning gourmet chocolates for over 30 years. Originally based in Vermont, the company was started by a Swiss-born chocolatier who chose only the finest ingredients for his recipes—especially the chocolate. When he retired in 2002, Lisa and Bill Campbell bought the company and moved it to Massachusetts, where they continue to follow the philosophy that you can only make the finest chocolates with the finest ingredients. Green Mountain Chocolate Company has grown and thrived in this corner of New England, and currently consists of a state-of-the-art production facility in Hopedale, a successful wholesale business, and retail stores in both Hopedale and Franklin. Together, Bill and Lisa have continued the award tradition; Green Mountain Chocolate has received many accolades, including recognition for their truffles as “Top Ten in the World,” by Gourmet Magazine and as “Top Three in the U.S.” by NY Times. Their famous chocolate covered potato chips were also discovered as “The Find” by The Boston Globe.
